From 1972 to 1990, W. T. Gaut was the CEO and Majority Stockholder of this multi-state SubChapter-S corporation that was approved by the States of Alabama and Louisiana. STI specialized in the training and certification of private and proprietary security guards and security management. The total training course for certification consists of 315 classroom hours conducted over a nine-week period with each segment verified by attendance and written examination where the minimum passing score is 70%.
This corporation was approved by the US Department of Education for the delivery of security training and certification. The organization trained for virtually every industry including but not limited to:

W.T. Gaut has been accepted as a qualified Security Expert in State Courts for both plaintiffs and defendants. He has never been rejected by any court as a Security Expert. He continues to update his Security Training knowledge through the review of current Security textbooks used in the industry and by major universities in their respective Private Security courses.
